Recording with Marcus Bonfanti

I hope this message finds you all well and enjoying the summertime! I've Just finished recording the 2nd album from my good friend and extraordinary bluesman, Marcus Bonfanti. We were away for the first couple of weeks in August at Modern World Studios in the Cotswolds, and alongside Marcus and myself was Alex Reeves on drums. The album also features a guest appearance from legendary keys man Paddy Milner on a few tracks. Behind the desk engineering was New Zealand's finest young prodigy Mr. Nick Poortman, assisted by all-round legend Andy Jackson.

We've had a listen back to the mixes and this album promises to be something very special; great tunes, sounds and vibes. It's due to be mastered at the end of the month, and released Autumn '09 on The Guitar Label. For more information and updates on the record check out www.marcusbonfanti.com.
Well, that's about it for now. There are some great things in the pipeline for Autumn, including a week long residency with Earl, Paddy & The Big Sounds at Paris' Jazz Club Lionel Hampton. So check back for all the news...
