Checking In
April 20, 2009
It's been a while since I last checked in so I thought it was time to drop a line and say howdy. 2009 has been quite busy, starting with a great tour with Sandi Thom to celebrate Scotland's Home Coming Year. Each night we were joined on stage by a special guest performer, including The Right Honorable First Minister of Scotland Sir Alex Salmond, Scottish music legend Phil Cunningham and X-Factor winner Leon Jackson. We had some great times on and off the stage, with a trip up the UK's largest mountain Ben Nevis and even a deep fried Mars Bar from Sauchiehall Street!

Since then I've been busy working with Earl Thomas with Paddy Milner & The Big Sounds. We've just finished the first leg of our spring tour, with some exciting festival and club dates in Denmark and England. We're back out in May and throughout the rest of the year around the UK, Germany, The Netherlands and Italy in support of our debut, self-titled album. Here's a photo of our recent show at the Djurs Bluesland Festival in Denmark...
As well, I'll be featured in an upcoming issue of Bass Guitar Magazine which should hit the shelves in the next couple of months.
Well, that's about it for now. There are some other exciting things in the pipeline at the moment, so I'll try to give an update a little sooner next time :)
